Hi! Have you considered looking at some books that discuss the status of the Death Penalty in other countries?

Roger Hood's "The Death Penalty: A Worldwide Perspective" (2002), might be worth a look.

And you can find lots of other books by doing keyword searches country by country (e.g. "Death Penalty" AND "China"), or region by region ("Death Penalty" AND "Europe"), too.

Hi Kendra,

Today while reading the "Law Librarian Blog" (available at http://lawprofessors.typepad.com/law_librarian_blog/) I saw a link to a new report from the "Death Penalty Information Center" entitled "A Crisis of Confidence: Americans' Doubts About the Death Penalty."

Read the report at http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/CoC.pdf

many other reports and resources are available on the "Death Penalty Information Center" home page at http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/
