DECISIONS, DECISIONS!
Tomorrow I'm visiting Indiana State, I'm kind of excited, because it would help make my decision more easier. I really need to decide what I want to do, I mean QUICK!

Capital Punishment Part II
Garvey, Stephen P. Beyond Repair? America's Death Penalty. Durham, N.C. Duke University Press, 2003.
Beyond Repair? A title with so much meaning. This book shows statistics of the death penalty, such as; the decrease in American support. As of July 1, 2002, the American people have experienced 784 men and women put to death. Beyond Repair pinpoints on why exactly the death penalty exists. Race, is stated a factor.

The Death Penalty
Kronenwetter, Michael. "Capital Punishment."Contemporary World Issues. Second Edition. 2001.
"Capital Punishment", written by Michael Kronenwetter, merely pinpoints on my feelings towards the death penalty. Likewise, we both understand that everyone should be punished for the crime that they committed. Although, we feel that the death penalty is "complete and final", and that it deprives individuals of changing and becoming a better individual for society. "Cruel and unusual punishment" is against the law in our Constitution, but with this method of death, it seems that going against the law is acceptable. If the lawmakers continue to kill an individual for killing another individual, what is this saying? Is killing admissible for society?

I'M SO HUNGRY!
I am sooooo hungry right now! I could definitely use some French fries, and some chicken tenders. Or a #6 spicy, no tomatoes, from Burger King, or a salad from Martin's, or a panini sandwich from Martin's, or Frankie's! I'll definitely take whatever... almost whatever.

THIS MORNING
This morning was soooo crazy, I almost didn't have a ride to work! But, luckily my mom is on her early schedule today, so that meant that we would both be on our way to work at the same time. Since my mom wasn't expecting to give me a ride we were both almost late, especially me, because I had to drop her off at work, and still make it to Notre Dame on time. This would not have been a problem if KOREY came and picked me up like he was suppose to do. THANKS KOREY!

Bloggers New Greeting Response
The first thing I want to say is; Why is Korey getting all the prizes? First, he gets lunch today from his mentor, then he gets a present from Leslie, but wait what really beats me is that he is going to lunch with somebody that is not even his mentor on Tuesday, to FRANKIE'S out of all places...call me a hater if you want to! But, thanx Leslie for the introduction, and I'm so excited about blogging!
A New Day
Surprisingly, I wasn't tired this morning. Although, I should be since I was up coughing all night...don't worry I don't have meningitis. I'm at the BIC all day, and I must admit I'm excited. Over at the BIC I feel like I've been doing this job forever, and Beata, Scott, and Michelle are wonderful. I wonder what I'm going to eat for lunch today. To eat or not to eat...that is the question!

What Shall I Discuss Today?
The topic I chose was Capital Punishment. The reason I chose this topic is because, it's a very controversial issue that needs to be handled. All throughout this country individuals are being killed, even if their is a high doubt that they committed the crime. When individuals interpret rather an individual should live or die I feel that they are trying to play the role of God. I'm not justifying what the condemned person did, I just believe that there are other ways for him to receive the consequences and repercussions of his actions. There are a few ways that I could broaden my topic. I could find facts about racism, rather the death penalty is a deterrent for crime, alternatives, innocence, just to name a few.
Scared Stiff
I never realized that life would go by so fast. Just yesterday I was walking through the halls of Washington High School as a freshman, but today I'm walking through as an incoming freshman in college! I've never had to make so many decision that would determine the outcome of my life. By the way... I know I sound depressing, but I'm actually a fun girl...I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY BLOGGER DAYS! :)
